Serving low-income Native Americans with affordable and adequate housing.
Welcome to the Kaw Housing Authority Website. The Kaw Housing Authority was established October 17th, 1977, to serve low-income Native American families with affordable and adequate housing. We are funded by (HUD) Department of Housing and Urban Development. We manage homes in the Oklahoma communities of Kaw City, Newkirk, Ponca and Blackwell. Our rentals are located in Newkirk. Preference is given to our Kaw Tribal Citizens, Elders and Veterans.
We provide many services to our families, which can be viewed on this website, with applications and policies for each program we offer. As new programs become available, we will keep our Tribal Citizens informed. We have programs for Citizens in our jurisdictional area and outside of our jurisdictional area.
Kaw Housing continues our original mission of providing housing assistance through a number of diverse programs. We are committed in strengthening your housing needs to provide our Tribal Citizens with assistance on the programs we offer.
